Since the first SKUDs have hit the water, sailors have developed an amazing variety of additional equipment including customised seating and systems to handle the sheets, halyards and other control lines. SKUD sailors are clearly an innovative lot!
To streamline applications for approval of this kind of equipment for individual boats, a standard form has been developed by the SKUD18 Class Management Committee and can be downloaded from www.skud.org.

It would be nice to include a DVD in broadcast format to reveiw set up with servos on this boat. Please do include a "MINI DISC" on the outside of the shipping container to help facillitate inventory if any claims to Fireman's Fund or LLoyds for stolen parts while enroute to Port of Call. Information on this is being done similarly at www.ddjc.mil.us on all shipping containers with a satelite link to show the location at any time of said container within fifty feet on the globe.
I hope there is a timely release of the stops for 2007 by 15 January 2007 as most volunteers are governed by their agencies to submit their vacation plans COB 29 January 2007. Also, this includes Family advoacy groups for the military families around the world who have the greatest world proportion of disabled sponsors and dependents.
Similary, I am also interested on sposoring space on the boat. There is no rules on this at present and no suggested amount per square decimeter on the sail or hull. Maybe there is a lighting kit with LED low power for night operation as the Nations coast gurds sometimes requires that this be in place for registration of the hull. What about low FM two way communication during a race or instructional purposes while sailing during a race?
